ABOUT US - the Southern National Congress

WHAT is a succinct explanation of our purposes.

WHY is a more lengthy explanation (broken into seven parts) of the reasoning behind the formation of the Southern National Congress. The men and women who worked together to form the Congress were from various walks of life, from every Southern State, and represented a number of differing Southern organizations.

WHO gives a pictoral (as they are available) review of the officers and State chairmen, as well as a link to email them.

You may contact the Chairman directly here.

Worth Quoting

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace.  We ask not your counsels nor your arms.  Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.  May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Samuel Adams

What is liberty without wisdom and without virtue?

Edmund Burke
